Virtual and In Person EMDR Consultation
Looking For Ongoing Support?
I understand how downright scary learning a new skill or therapy modality can feel! My hope is that through consultation, we can make the process less intimidating. Together, we’ll work through case consultations, strengthen your EMDR skills, and create space for your questions.
I offer a range of consultation options for clinicians at different stages of their EMDR journey. Whether you’re just beginning after Foundational Training, working toward EMDRIA Certification, or exploring special topics, there’s a space for you here.
As an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, I can provide the hours you need toward EMDRIA Certification. I’m currently working on becoming a trainer under Amber Stiles-Bodnar — you can learn more about our training program here. For more information on the EMDRIA process, check out their website here.

Individual Consultation
Best for those desiring a focused hour of case consultation tailored to your client needs and growth as a clinician on an individual level.
Certification Track Groups
For clinicians actively working toward EMDRIA Certification. These groups are designed to support your clinical development while meeting EMDRIA requirements for consultation.
2 Hour Groups: Ideal for those wanting more time for case presentation, discussion, and integration.
1 Hour Groups: A shorter format to fit your schedule while still providing rich consultation opportunities.
Mixed-Level Consultation Groups
These groups welcome clinicians at various stages of EMDR training — from gaining your 10 hour for the foundational training requirements to those pursuing certification. Mixed-level spaces allow you to learn from each other’s perspectives and experiences.

1 Hour Special Topic Groups (topics vary month to month; examples include moving through different phases, complex trauma, working with avoidant clients, cognitive interweaves, working with dissociation, or integrating somatic work).
Consultant- In-Training (CIT) Cohort coming 2026.
These cohorts are for those who are EMDRIA Certified therapists pursuing the needed 20 hours of consultation-of consultation on the path to Approved Consultant status. Please email me for more information.

"Melissa is prompt in her 1:1 meetings, is a natural speaker and she offers her knowledge to you in a gentle and relatable way that make you feel more confident in your skills. Melissa is a compassionate and caring supervisor. I have referred friends and family to her because I knew that she would be able to give them what they need and they would feel safe with her.
