EMDR CONSULTATION AVAILABLE

Are you an EMDR-trained therapist seeking a supportive space to enhance your skills, navigate challenging cases, or refine your practice? Whether you’re new to EMDR or looking to explore advanced techniques, my consultation services are tailored to help you succeed and grow. Here’s why joining my individual or group consultations might be the perfect fit for you.

About Me

I’m Melissa Foster, LISW-S, and I’ve been practicing EMDR since 2017. As an approved consultant, I’m qualified to provide all 20 hours of consultation required for your EMDR certification—including your final letter. Additionally, I offer flexible drop-in sessions for therapists who need support with complex cases, want to revisit foundational techniques, or are interested in exploring new protocols.

My approach to consultation is relaxed but intentional. I strive to provide a space where you can feel supported while being gently challenged to overcome anything that might be holding you back from becoming the exceptional therapist you aspire to be.

Why Work With Me?

Here are some key reasons why I might be a great match for your consultation needs:

  • My practice focuses on supporting helping professionals (therapists, doctors, nurses, teachers, first responders) and queer millennials.

  • I’ve worked with EMDR clients as young as three years old.

  • I’m trained in various group EMDR protocols, including G-TEP, IGPT, and IGPT-OTS, and I actively lead groups in Central Ohio.

  • I’ve integrated EMDR intensives into my practice, which can lead to transformative outcomes for clients.

  • As a certified RYT, I incorporate somatic movement into daily resourcing practices.

  • I believe in openness and accessibility, sharing all the tools and techniques that have made EMDR successful in my practice.

  • When you feel like you’re “not doing EMDR,” I’ll remind you of the value of resourcing and how it’s an integral part of the process.

  • I genuinely believe that no question is too small or too basic—ask away!

Affordable and Accessible Support

Quality consultation should be accessible to all clinicians who are dedicated to growing their expertise. That’s why I’ve structured my fees to accommodate a variety of needs:

  • 1-hour individual consultation: $85

  • 1-hour group consultation: $25

  • 2-hour group consultation: $50

Whether you prefer one-on-one guidance or the camaraderie of group sessions, I have an option for you.

Upcoming Consultation Dates

Save the date! Here are my upcoming group consultation sessions:

  • Sunday, January 5, 2025

  • Friday, January 31, 2025
