Introducing EMDR Next Level Consultation
I’m thrilled to officially launch EMDR Next Level Consultation — my new professional home for all things EMDR consultation, mentorship, and advanced training. After years of running Fostering Fortitude, my therapy practice in Ohio, and co-owning Lotus Counseling Collective, I realized my consultation and training work had evolved into something much bigger. I wanted to create a space that could grow on its own, a space built just for EMDR therapists, Consultants-in-Training, and mental health professionals ready to take their work to the next level.
As an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, therapist, EMDR hype-girl, and mentor, I’m passionate about helping new EMDR therapists get past the early jitters of Basic Training so they can gain confidence and see how powerful this modality truly is for their clients. I’m equally passionate about starting to support Consultants-in-Training in becoming exceptional EMDRIA Approved Consultants while also learning how to build a consultation business that feels meaningful, sustainable, and aligned. This separation of my therapy practice and my consultation work is a really positive move — for me, and for our professional community. Fostering Fortitude will continue to serve clients, while EMDR Next Level Consultation becomes the hub for EMDR professionals. All advanced EMDR trainings, EMDRIA-approved opportunities, and future connections in the EMDR world will live here. I’ve been so grateful to be involved with Amber and the Institute for Creative Mindfulness as part of their EMDR Basic Training team, and I plan to stay deeply involved in that work (and hopefully, one day, become a trainer myself).
The CIT Cohort will be on pause for a bit while EMDRIA updates consultant requirements, but this next phase means more opportunities for EMDR providers, more consultation options, more collaboration, and more connection.
My journey here has been shaped by co-leading Private Practice 101 with Ashley, helping therapists build thriving practices, and watching them find their confidence as business owners. Now, through EMDR Next Level Consultation, I get to continue that mission, helping EMDR therapists and consultants grow both clinically and professionally through a modality that truly changes lives.This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see where it takes us.
