Current Groups Offered
Fostering Fortitude offers a variety of therapy groups throughout the year. Groups are offered virtually and in person depending on the program. If a group is not currently enrolling, you can join the waitlist to be notified when the next session opens.
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
An eight-week evidence-based program designed to help adults reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, and develop practical mindfulness skills for everyday life. Participants learn meditation, body awareness, and coping strategies to better manage anxiety, burnout, chronic stress, and life's challenges.
Who: Adults experiencing stress, anxiety, burnout, or anyone looking to improve overall well-being.
When: Offered multiple times throughout the year.
Format: Virtual
Nervous System Regulation Group
Learn practical skills to better understand and regulate your nervous system using Polyvagal-informed and somatic approaches. This three part group focuses on recognizing stress responses, building resilience, improving emotional regulation, and developing a greater sense of safety and connection.
Who: Adults experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, trauma symptoms, or nervous system dysregulation.
When: Offered multiple times throughout the year.
Format: Virtual
Group EMDR for Helping Professionals
Designed specifically for therapists, healthcare professionals, first responders, educators, and other helping professionals, this group uses the Group Traumatic Episode Protocol (G-TEP) and other evidence-informed EMDR interventions to address cumulative stress, compassion fatigue, burnout, and work-related trauma in a supportive group setting..
Who: Helping professionals experiencing burnout, secondary traumatic stress, compassion fatigue, or work-related trauma.
When: Offered throughout the year based on demand.

Group EMDR for Sexual Assault Survivors
This trauma-informed group combines education, stabilization, resourcing, and SVS (Sexual Violence Survivors) EMDR Group Therapy Protocol to help survivors process trauma in a safe, supportive environment. Participants build coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and experience healing alongside others with shared experiences. Individual readiness is assessed prior to participation
Who: Adult survivors of sexual assault who are appropriate for group trauma treatment.
